Tim Guthrie, Senior Pastor
Pastor Tim came to Arlington in June of 2006.  He has served churches in Texas, Louisiana, Alabama and Tennessee with over 28 years of church ministry service.  He loves being a Pastor and loves people of all ages. He has a Bachelors Degree in Church Ministries, a Masters Degree in Theology and is completing his Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Pastoral Ministries with a focus on New Testament Stewardship.  Pastor Tim is also the President/Founder of the national stewardship ministry Ekklesia Essentials (a ministry of Pastors helping Pastors in the area of Stewardship Development and Leadership Development).  He loves people and walking the journey of life with them. He has 2 grown children. 

John Lovelace, Associate Pastor/Youth
John is a product of Arlington Baptist Church. Having grown up here, John returned to his home church in 1991 to serve the Lord with our youth program.  John enjoys all sports and he is a collector of lighthouses.  John is sought after by many young Youth Pastors as a mentor and is gifted in administration and service along with being "an all around, down to earth guy". he has 2 children and 2 grandchildren.
Marty Henry, Minister of Children/Senior Adults
Marty began serving Arlington March 2008. Marty was born and raised in Alabama. He works also as a physical therapist in home health. Marty is serving two groups - Bed babies through 5th grade and also our Senior Adults/ Homebound. He has 2 children. 

Carey Crowe, Minister of Music/Worship 
Arriving at Arlington in 1993, Carey has created an enthusiastic music and worship program that glorifies the Lord. An excellent Bible teacher, Carey is also involved in the Bible Study ministry of Arlington - teaching a couple's class.  Carey enjoys people, music and is an expert at creating puns - what else would you expect from a guy named "Crowe"? He has 2 children and 5 grandchildren. 
Beth Smith, Dir Praise/Worship

Beth began serving Arlington April 2008. Beth is a Knoxville native. Beth leads our Praise Team and Youth Wednesday Night Worship. She also teaches voice and piano. She is a mother of 2.

Administrative Assistants:
Susan Lard, Financial
Susan began her ministry at Arlington in 1994. A native of Alabama, Susan truly believes that the work of Church Administrative Assistant is a ministry. Indeed she has used this ministry to be a blessing to the people of Arlington. Susan is has 3 grown children and 5 grandchildren.

Rita Rumgay, Publications
Rita began her ministry at Arlington in June of 2009.  She and her family are active in many areas of ministry in the Arlington family.  Rita has 4 children and one grandchild.
